Big, Stylish Toolbar Icons
by Jose Baldizon
If you’re a big fan of big icons you’ll be happy to know that you can easily make the icons in the Standard and Formatting toolbars larger and even style them up a bit.
Set the icon style to “classic” for an old school look, or to “high contrast” for a funky black and white style that’ll hurt your eyes if you stare at them for too long.
You can do all this from the Options dialog box, which you can bring up from the Tools menu (Tools → Options). Then select View from the OpenOffice.org settings. In the User Interface section you’ll see two drop-down lists that’ll allow you to change the size and style of the toolbar icons.
Here’s a short video explaining the process.
